Things I have learned this week:

1. I still can't do anything as stressful as grocery shopping.
2. Cleaning my home up is probably right out, too, but it's really gross by now...
3. Fanart is obviously the way to go if I want people to look at my art on tumblr but that was kind of obvious anyway.
4. I enjoy drawing FE:A characters.

Since this won't stop bugging me, I'm going to wordbarf over here instead of somewhere anyone regularly reads, so! The Walking Dead admittedly has sexist elements, but calling it misogynistic? No. Really no. There's no way you can get that unless you stopped watching three episodes in and if that's the case, you don't get to judge a show. I'm sick of things I enjoy getting labelled as misogynistic. Some of my friends nearly ruined the Dresden Files books for me because they felt the need to 'set me straight' on how much Jim Butcher hates women and how the books are so hateful towards women and blah blah blah blur blugh.

I don't care. I'm not blind. I can see the sexism in those books, too, but just let me enjoy them for fuck's sake. But this is about The Walking Dead, so I'll leave that at that.

First let's get the Rick-Lori-Shane triangle of pure dumbfuck shit out of the way, which I absolutely hated. The handling of that made the characters irritating and I can see where the idea that The Walking Dead is misogynistic could come from if you focus on this part alone. It's hard not to, since it's constantly there and always in our faces, but I'm not defending that part. The writing for Lori jumped the shark in Season 2 when she tried to convince Rick that Shane was too dangerous to keep around, followed by her criticizing Andrea for playing around with guns rather than doing chores and implying that was what the women should be doing. I admit it took awhile for me to boot up the remaining episodes and finish that season after that, since what she said disgusted me. However, I wasn't alone in that disgust, which brings us to, you know, THE OTHER FEMALE CHARACTERS.

and then LA wouldn't stop writing stuff )

There is a little issue with the td widths when a name gets too long, but all it does is push words down.

Changing "width=120" to 130 or so on the individual tds will fix that.
